Heather Hennigh, CFP®, AIF®

Financial Advisor/ Vice President

Heather Hennigh, a West Texas native, is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) that works with clients seeking holistic wealth planning with in-depth financial planning needs. This includes areas such as estate, tax, insurance planning, and business planning; not just solely focusing on investment management. Her passion is one-on-one comprehensive financial planning and helping couples, working professionals, small businesses, and the farming & ranching community achieve their financial goals.

Heather has a broad range of experience in the financial industry, which started as an intern at a wirehouse in the summer of 2009, and then later transitioned into a full-time Financial Advisor role once she graduated college. She also has experience with employer-sponsored retirement plans and employer benefits. While still in college, her goal was to always go independent- either start her own firm or join an independent wealth planning firm, which led her to make Ethos Wealth Planning her permanent home.

She graduated from Texas Tech University in December of 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Personal Financial Planning, and immediately started her professional career as a financial advisor in January of 2010. She currently holds her FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities registrations, along with the Group I Life, Health, Annuity, and Long-Term Care licenses, is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificant, and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary.

When not in the office, Heather enjoys spending time with her husband, Houston, and Labrador Retriever, Cotton. Houston is a farmer, and they own a farm in Ganado, TX where they grow cotton and corn. Heather is very active in her church- she plays the piano and sings on the worship team & serves on the church board. She is also active in the Walk to Emmaus community and serves on the HWEC Board. Other interests include cooking, playing tennis, swimming, running, and watching sporting events, including the Astros and Texas Tech.

“My mission as a Financial Advisor is to educate my clients and give them the superior service and guidance they need to help them make better sound financial decisions. By building a personalized financial plan tailored to my clients, this will enable them to properly prepare for their future and build confidence, so they can feel more in control over their future financial needs and goals.”
